The tree is grown

I tend not to notice time until a big chunk of it is gone. Recently, I've been aware of it. My two years at Ohio University is coming to a close. It's bringing a lot of emotions, mostly from something good.

The other day I was sitting with a woman, on her porch, that I have been photographing for two years, Sheila. She was looking at a tree that had grown into its maturity. The tree was adjacent her home and she mentioned that when she first moved in, the tree was only a twig. Eventually, it grew into its matured size. We spoke about how she didn't notice that the tree grew from day-to-day, and only noticed it years later.

Sometimes you don't notice time until the tree has grown.

The days go slow, the years go fast.
