I'm a photographer with the Los Angeles Times. I also spent time as a freelance photographer in Colombia, South America and as a staff photographer for the Naples Daily News in Florida. I have a master’s degree in Visual Communication from Ohio University and completed internships at The Oregonian and the Sandusky Register. I attended the Eddie Adams Workshop and the Missouri Photo Workshop.
A native to California, my interest in photojournalism began as an undergraduate at Sarah Lawrence College where I studied Anthropology. I like that photographs provide an honest account of what happened, they share the important moments occurring in our world.
